Niagara Falls Christmas Market Photo Ops

Niagara Falls Christmas Market Photo Ops

Looking for all the best photo ops at the Niagara Falls Christmas Market? We created a list just for you, so that you never have to miss out on the perfect selfie or group-photo moment!

#1. Glow Swings

Located in the parkette at Valley Way and Buckley, we have four giant plastic glow swings. These fun egg-shaped swings are filled with LED lights that illuminate at dusk, flashing in a luminous rainbow glow! These swings are equipped with built-in handles, so you can spin around for the perfect boomerang, video, or a Niagara Falls Christmas market photo! If it has been snowing, please take extra caution. These swings can get quite slippery, and we don’t want any accidents happening over a photo. Ask someone to take it for you, and use both hands on the handles! Of course, for best safety practices, we ask that one person sit on the swing at a time. Stay safe, and have fun!

#2. Glow Seesaws

Also located in the parkette at Valley Way and Buckley, we have a few seesaws (also known as teeter-totters). These seesaws are also lined with colourful LEDs inside of them, adding a little extra magic to playtime. As always, please exercise the utmost caution when using the seesaws, and understand the restraints –  they are meant for children 100lbs and under, and children must be supervised by an adult at all times when using the seesaws or swings, keeping both hands securely gripped to the seesaws.

The seesaws make for a perfect photo opportunity for families when used safely! We appreciate your care when using them, as we want to make these last for future years to come! We hope you enjoy them as much as we do – happy jumping!

#3. Selfie Wall

Located at 4605 Queen Street, we have a dedicated selfie wall for all your photo needs! This selfie wall stands proudly illuminated with string lights, Christmas bulbs, and snowflakes – topped with a pretty bow! The couch comfortably fits two adults and snuggly fits about three to four. When it snows, we tend to take the couch inside so it doesn’t degrade, but we look forward to seeing photos outside the wall nonetheless!

The teal, gold, and silver colours are sure to stand out and make every photo look great, just don’t forget to use flash!

#4. Fire Pit Patio

Located at Ronnie Don’s (4606 Queen Street), there are three real flamed fire pits, where you can grab a hot chocolate with your friends and family. The hot chocolate itself is something to behold, as different kinds come with a variety of toppings – such as whipped cream, chocolate sauce, chocolate chips, and even cotton candy!

Warm up your hands, and treat yourself to something decadent! Check out their Facebook page for full hot chocolate details.

#5. Santa’s Sleigh

Located just outside The Captian’s Quarters on the promenade is Santa’s Sleigh, which is entirely illuminated! The red, green, and white sleigh is led by Santa’s trustee reindeer, who make this Niagara Falls Christmas Market photo op the perfect spot for you, your family, and friends to take a cozy photograph. Better yet, come on a Saturday between 5 pm – 8 pm and experience this photo opportunity with the big guy himself, and Mrs.Claus of course! See #6 for more details!

#6. Photos with Santa

Another Niagara Falls Christmas Market photo opp is photos with Santa! Both Mr. and Mrs. Claus will be walking around the Christmas Market every Saturday between 5 pm – 8 pm, happily ready to talk to the little ones and to and take photos with you and your family! There is no charge to get your photos taken, but you must have your own camera! Join Santa and Mrs. Claus as they move around the market – sitting in bright yellow chairs, greeting people by Valley Way, stopping for photos at the sleigh, and just meandering about!

#7. Season’s Greetings Sign

At the entrance of the market, closest to the Valley Way and Victoria intersection, you will find the big “Season’s Greetings” sign which is illuminated 24/7. This giant sign is approximately 12 ft tall and the text is centered between two giant deer that are facing each other. The sign is primarily blue and gold, with a thin white outline, and highlights our beautiful string lights that cascade in the background. It is lit so bright that it is sure to catch the eyes of all your friends once posted to your social feed!

#8. Photos with The Grinch!

Just as Santa will be floating around the market, so is Mr.Grinch! He might hate Christmas, but he loves photos and being the center of attention! This is one photo op you don’t want to miss!

#9. Photos with Elsa and Anna!

Elsa & Anna will be visiting the market on December 18th from 4:30-6:30 pm. Bring out the kids for some fun, but be sure to bundle up – we don’t want to get anyone FROZEN! 🥶❄️
